Brows FAQs

Originating from the Middle East, threading is an increasingly popular form of hair removal for facial hair, such as eyebrows, upper lips, chins and the sides of your face. Your therapist will twist a piece of cotton with her fingers to trap the hairs and remove them from the root.

Threading is entirely natural, involves the use of no chemicals, does not damage the skin and removes even the finest of hairs. Many people now prefer it to waxing for the delicate facial area but of course this is down to personal preference.

In some countries, threading is used to remove hair from large body parts, e.g. legs. This is a painfully slow process, however, in more ways than one, so at nkd we reserve threading for brows and other facial areas only.
