It turns out that we haven’t implemented a price rise for 4 ½ years – since 2020 – and in that time, our costs have risen exponentially.
Therefore, with effect from the 1st October 2024 we will be increasing our prices in line with our costs and to reflect the exemplary service we’ve always been so proud to offer.
We’re also implementing a more tailored price increase for Sarah as our senior therapist and trainer to reflect her exceptional level of industry experience and expertise (not to mention popularity). This means that appointments with Sarah will be charged at a premium from the 1st October 2024.
We’ve put together what we believe to be some incredibly good-value special offers which will allow you to access your next 5 treatments at very reasonable prices. The deadline for purchasing these limited-time deals is 1st October 2024. These special offers can also be purchased by anyone on an existing B9G2F course of treatments, if they wish. What happens if I have an existing package?
Congratulations if you’re on an existing package! This means that the new pricing will not kick in for you until your current package expires/you use all of the treatments within it. If your existing package is due to expire any time soon, or if you just want to take advantage of any of our amazing ‘Beat the Price Increase’ special offers while you can, you are welcome to purchase one of these in addition to your existing package. However, please note that because the new limited-time deals have an expiry of 6 months/expire on 31st March 2025, the credits from the new special offer will need to be used first and then you can use your remaining, current, package balance, assuming it’s still within its validity date.
What are the details of the new Limited Time Special Offers?
There are 2 types of Limited Time Special Offers on sale. One type is for use with our Senior Therapists and Trainers (Sarah and Louise) and the other is for use with all of our other amazing waxing specialists.
The Senior Therapist Offer is a simple Buy 4 Get 1 Free deal. This means that instead of paying £45 for your Brazilian or Hollywood with Sarah (or Louise) from 1st October onwards, for an extremely limited time (until 30th September!) you can purchase a bundle of 5 Senior Therapist Brazilians or Hollywoods for just £36 per treatment (=4 x £45 = £180. £180/5 = £36)
The standard waxing specialist offer is also Buy 4 Get 1 Free but with the inclusion of products. So taking the example of a female Brazilian or Hollywood waxing treatment again, you can buy 4 of these for the price of 5, and you will also get a Complete Care Kit – worth £42.50 – in with the deal! The price of this offer works out an incredible £25.10 per treatment, compared to the £42 you will pay after the price increase! (=£4 x 42 = £168. £168 – £42.50 = £125.50. £125.50/5 = £25.10
Some shorter treatment types come with a 250ml (nkd) All Over Body Balm as the free product, rather than a Complete Care Kit.
Can I buy either a Waxing Specialist Limited Time Special Offer without purchasing products OR a Senior Therapist offer with products?
No, these are pre bundled deals and cannot be customised. So you can either buy the standard waxing specialist bundle of 4 treatments for the price of 5 plus (nkd) product(s) or the Senior Therapist 4 treatments for the price of 5 without products.
Can I still book in with Sarah if I buy a Waxing Specialist Limited Time Special Offer?
No, unfortunately, only customers who have purchased a Senior Therapist Limited Time Offer will be booked in for treatment time with Sarah. Don’t worry though, we train all of our therapists to the same high standard, so you’ll be in extremely safe hands whoever you choose to see.
Can I pay for a Beat the Price Increase Special Offer in Monthly Instalments?
No, sorry, all Beat the Price Increase Special Offers must be paid for upfront and in full at the time of purchase. Remember that they will only be available to buy until 30th September 2024.
Will you still be selling your Buy 9 Get 2 Free Packages?
No, we have stopped selling all other package types (including Buy 9 Get 2 Free and Buy 6 get 1 Free) with immediate effect. But as we said, anyone who is already bought into a package will carry on, on the same deal until the expiry of that package/all treatments within it have been redeemed.
I’ve been a loyal customer for years, why are you making me pay more?
As we said in our announcement, all of our costs have increased and simply cannot continue to trade at our current prices. The price increase reflects not only out cost increases but also what other salons in the area are charging. We know that as specialists we offer a superior experience with premium products, aftercare and advice so we are comfortable in saying that you treatment will be worth every penny.
What about special offers after the Limited Time ones are no longer available?
Going forward, we will be putting return discounts in place, which will reward regular visiting customers for their loyalty.
I only want to have Sarah as my therapist but I don’t want to pay more. What can I do?
Being the wonderful therapist and person that she is, Sarah is hugely in demand and this can be a huge pressure for her. And she’s not going to thank us for saying this, but she’s not getting any younger either 😉 It is standard policy for salons and hairdressers to charge more for their senior therapists compared to their junior therapists, and to be honest, we should have made this change a long time ago.
We absolutely understand that you might not want to pay an additional fee to have your appointment with Sarah, in which case you are free to book in with any of our other amazingly talented and very nice therapists at the lower treatment price.
